Prologue: The Recruitment According to the Code of Taxonomy

The Code of Taxonomy, its implementing rules and regulations, and all other related issuances are quite straightforward with its recuitment activities, which are all made in the name of the perfect order established by scientific accuracy of the related events pertaining to the core of humanity, that defined the purpose of reason in the perception of the individual's ulterior motives. The optimization of choices, the facilitation of the benefits derived from the learning curve, the statistical regression of data related to existence, and the employment of actuarial computations, all ends to the matters that has become the solemn duty enshrined in the Constitutional Code of Taxonomy.

Taxonomy has had a different role before (not a police force as it was now known), many centuries ago during the era of occupation of the territory that still allows for the Government of the Literary Committe to subsist along with the instrumentalities of the Scientific Council. The Code talks about the perfection of the image of man as processed by the neuroscience of his mind, and as perceived by his senses. Although the arts are already indirectly rejected by the Council, a level of tolerance exists within the See of Dunster.

It will suffice for now that the See of Dunster flourished as a society under this set up, long before a civil war broke out that completely obliterated the Literary Committee. A different book might have narrated what happened by then, but this story happened many more years ago before that infamous revolution has begun.

Taxonomy, as originally perceived, explores the possibility of inquiring into the affairs of man through the subjugation of the soul to a perfect system of criteria, to which it may create a signal towards the orderly regulation of feelings and emotion. However, as experiments are made to define this very vague proposition, nobody seems to agree with the reach of the said criteria as needed.

Taxonomists, then, are freely associated with the Anti-Plagiarists, although they believe in a very different and opposite schools of thought regarding the regulation of feelings. Both agree that emotional attachments are very hard to define, so that a system to actually save humanity from unnecessary misery still exists in a complicated question and a matter of mystery.

The Autonomous Status of the Imperial Synod granted by the Story Board seemed to be premature as to the readiness of the renaissance to embrace the management of affairs and destinies within the scope of the narration of this richly built world, and many shares the view that close cooperation within the See of Dunster must exist or else for everyone and the state to die.

But that was before. Taxonomists are now well-trained to respond to threat and opposition, swearing by the Code of Taxonomy under the same pretense discussed earlier. The recruitment to the elite Tower of Taxonomy requires more than average skills, but mainly everybody needs to show brute force. This employment of coerced actions against all citizens has been vehemently opposed by the Literary Committee, the matter being the main cause of a silent rift between the two governments.

This story starts at the onset of this conflict and the golden age of the Sovereign See of Dunster. Whatever is written in other books other than this literary work, especially those graphic descriptions about the regime of evil, may be true in all intent and purposes, as well.

This is not to validate those claims. But all stories can go on forever, and then it becomes real like hosted magic, which is precisely the effect of the same thing.
