Chapter Nine: The Titular Bishop of Literature
The President of the Scientific Council paid a courtesy call to the Titular Bishop of Literature while he was on his way visiting the areas of the Vicariate, to discuss matters of common concern, and also to deal with security issues within the territory shared with the See of Dunster.
The current Council President of the Sciences and Auxiliary Bishop of the See of Dunster, President Philip Greyhoggs, was more inclined to discuss the threats posed by the Institute of Antonyms, especially the Idealists, as they are trying to maneuver their way into meddling with the Pragmatists approach in their own affairs, a bold move that is considered usurping the authority of those following the pragmatism and its corresponding methods.
"We are now very inclined to send a Note Verbale to the See of Old if the Idealists continue to impose their will on the Pragmatists. If necessary, we shall be inclined to seek judicial relief on this matter if protests will be ignored, as we raise our common resolve on this very important matter."
Bishop Lino Courtier, who is currently holding the Titular See of Literature, was listening intently to the concerns of the Scientific Council, and he is in full agreement with the sentiments raised by the President.
"We do support you on this protest, Your Excellency," Bishop Courter said in all sincerity. "We will join you in support of your legal moves to make this matter known, and I will immediately seek the cooperation of the Principal Legate of the Bishopric for the See of Dunster, in full unity with the main ideals that institutionalized the rapid influences of our Renaissance Society."
"I truly appreciate this unilateral move to speak with our Bishopric regarding this grave abuse of discretion being committed by the Idealists," the President reiterated his gratitude. "We deeply fear that they are trying to delete our sacred traditions and immortal heritage from which the richness of our society borrows its display of diversity and harmony. This moves are simply unacceptable."
"We understand this position, and we shall require the response of the Institutes of Antonyms regarding the matter as I will attempt to seek the arbitration from the Assembly to make matters clear, and narrowly define the problem so that a solution may be effectively drawn."
"Thank you for your support, Most Reverend," President Greyhoggs said. "Now regarding these ferocious animals roaming your forests to the North, do you have any idea on where they may be originating?"
"This, I am not fully aware. It seems that the pursuit of literature has its own weaknesses as well. Both of us, as well as the Antonyms, are not perfect, now that I am starting to see the horizon of reality."
"I must agree with you," the President said.
