Chapter Thirty Six: A Destructive Feeling

He must get away at once!

The murderer was trying to escape her presence as his muscles begin to tremble, while his heartbeat was pounding very hard. He had never felt this feeling before, and it was too overwhelming to be adequately explained in simple terms. It was like a venom that quickly paralyzes his biological systems. There is no room for foolishness. He needed to retreat.

Is this the appointed moment that he will finally meet his match? Has it finally arrived? He honestly do not know. But he cannot deny and doubt the several symptoms that his humanly flesh was showing him. Within the presence of his complete resolve, he had never thought that a moment like this would eventually come.

Life is full of surprises, after all, and today is no exception.

As he was fleeing the place of this unfortunate encounter, there are certain details of her face that he simply could not forget. Her face was so beautiful like an Angel, and her eyes were tantalizing enough to command a strong connection. Until after a while, he felt like she was still staring at him, seducing him, and igniting the flame of passion that only his physical flesh can thoroughly reciprocate.

But this woman was the least of his concerns, though. What he was actually worried about was his literary talents were about to resurface, even though he already renounced any connections with the solemn Illustrators when he already changed his allegiance. But he had forgotten for a while that he wasn't subscribing to the causes of the Scientific Council, neither.

He was, in fact, a rebel without a cause.

And yet, the repulsive impetus of what he believes to be the relative attraction of this woman that answers truly to his hateful meta-composition was too powerful to be ignored. He must, at all times, be accountable to his own self-proclaimed causes by preventing any further contact with her.

If he want to succeed, he must heed caution coming from the depths of his soul.

Whatever longing that he felt where the void in his soul exists, it must be stopped at once. He must turn his attention to something else. He must forget her. He must not see her again. He must be capable of destroying this repulsive verb.

There is this most potent poison he knows about that exists in the context of a paradox; that venom is love.

Poison to poison is what the battle is all about.
