Chapter Forty Four: To Kill
It is forbidden to kill: therefore all murderers
are punished unless they kill in large numbers
and to the sound of trumpets.
Voltaire
Blind belief in authority
is the greatest enemy of truth.
Albert Einstein
In a room where
people unanimously maintain
a conspiracy of silence,
one word of truth
sounds like a pistol shot.
Czeslaw Milosz
I hear the tireless taunting
Of the many distinct voices
They urge, a necessity
To remove the mask of men
Those who are innocent
They must fully awaken
Heed the calls of justice
And freedom from mess
Towards complete liberation
There must be a way
To say the least of all
Achieve the common goal
The ready exposition made
Of the truest recall
Made in absolute secret
Concealed within our midst
The smell of stinky flowers
Nothing shall ever dim
Of the many agents of greed
They always prosper, indeed
But onwards we must
Again, to kill; to be free
Ultimately, truly
From the chains of slavery
One cannot stay
And there must never be
The most simplest way
They settle for free
The poor is exploited
In the service of men
They die, pitifully
So, then, now what is faith?
The main source of deception
The cause of manipulation
That produces complication
To loot in the same direction
Generationally begotten
The equitable state
During the final tribulation
In a definite, careless retreat
And then, the silence
Everything vanishes
Into the bliss of wrongs
Sure advances
But, where are we now?
What freedom is this?
The resources are ultimately gone
The material loot is through
Now, the scenes are flashbacks
A reel of regret deludes
The killings will never, ever
Fully commensurate the blues
To the desecration of the human soul
They shall see the hidden might
The return of a raging karma
Towards a ruthless drama
And then, it gave rise
To the ghosts of the soul
From these unjust killings
They quickly arose
Despite the lack of warning
They have borne the fight
Involuntarily, yet full of beyond
Instinct tells them to trust
And never to quit the fight
Certainly, all of us must
And then death resides
