Chapter Fifty: A Drastic Move
The moment he was able to smell the blood, the more he was taunted to do it. He could simply not restrain himself. He needed to commit the murder right at that very moment.
Of course, he needed to punish this man for his infidelity; his character is so disgusting that the lust he was willfully displaying in public was the most despicable act he had ever encountered. The very thought of the man's flirting behavior makes him nauseous and sick to the stomach. It was already decided by the stars spread out in the night sky that he must die instantaneously and in the most ruthless manner possible.
He actually did not know this man's wife, nor there was a real key that he was actually searching for. He was simply bluffing his victims, just like what he did to the rest of his murders.
The thing about his own powers and abilities was that he could read the minds of other people. But because he can enter the mind of a certain individual without considerable restraint, every potential murder that he could possibly commit was made with fictitious circumstances, which actually defies the laws of the physical world. It was very similar in directing a horror movie, with convincing suspension of disbelief.
It is for this reason that his whereabouts are still unknown till this latest killing, that his felonies were still considered perfect crimes with no trace of any credible leads or crime scene mistakes, which then explains the true reason why his audacity to kill was mainly encouraged by his own impeccable doing.
But he did not kill individuals just for the fun of it. He was after all the people who deserve the death penalty. It was justice he was looking for. Almost like a vigilante. A hero, if you will.
Yet, the face of justice that he was looking for was quite dissimilar from the norms of what society would like to believe, based solely on the mandate of established authority as it was propagated in the educated population. For him, justice is not a mere discussion of legal arguments that make up the admissible evidence and the upholding of vital constitutional rights. No, not at all. Justice requires blood. And a day in court requires bloodshed from the appropriate hearing of the most brutal, but well-deserved, torture.
Of course, his intimate views were too radical to be introduced into the consciousness of the already indoctrinated; otherwise, that it is going to be very unlikely to receive fair treatment in a terrible system of institutions that support authoritative, ruling classes. There is no room to defy established rules without overthrowing the present political state. A complete liberation is a result of revolution; it is an important path to take, a must. Violence is the only way.
As he smelled blood from that illusion, his common resolve to achieve justice for those who flee the legal system, or for those abusing the free markets, or those stealing from the taxes of the many, had become a vital purpose, not only for his own satisfaction but for the pure reason of standing up from all the evil that has transpired in the black void of the darkness. A new state of the Classical Mixtures.
He killed this cheating animal through the use of his own lying mind by the illusion of magic, and it felt really good.
