Chapter Sixty Eight: The Required Darkness
A certified true copy of a parchment obtained from the unofficial sources of this publication in the Department of Mysteries, British Ministry of Magic:
I have seen it all, in the book of scrolls. Magic or illusions, a trickery for all. I shall never repeat, a secret revealed. In the wrong hands of mercy, authorities kill. And in all shapes and sizes, a cut to the chase. And then misery to madness, so it begins.
Who are you? Who are they? Ghosts who have deliberately gone astray. Why are you here? In the deepest waters and serene? If not to count, and draw out blood. Matters remain unseen.
In a world inundated by swords, in the severe attack of arsenals foretold. One shall remain still knowing, of things decidedly strong. Arms and utterness, the wars begin to fold. In the darkness of night, stillness deficiently cried. And then matters begin to take hide.
Such strong agony in sight! This prophetic instance recites. The wolves in sheep's clothing devour; of bloodless skirmish resounds. A villain was made, in the power of silver it fled. As senses hunt and the mind desires. Otherwise, secrets remain to pass.
Be warned in literary might! Save thyselves, in unity of sight. Desire not, nor power corrupts! As the deeper fantasy occupies space and has mass. No jubilation shall be seen or heard; in the soonest, adjust the sails. Just as it was, so shall it be. Symbols remain, yet every life will flee. Annihilation of thoughts. Severity of clue. Prophetic revelation, not so entirely true.
Keep us in mind, in thoughts, in peace; memorials are everywhere in order to be seen! Brethren, clearly, it was unfortunate to see; a personal witnessing to the sound revered; of bell towers and coats of arms. Of lions, tigers or bees renowned.
Alas! Keep your guards, of madness and fundamental trusts. Company of merchants, of life, materials and bite. Wolves, thieves, a flock of sheep; in all fairness, the water leaks!
It shall not make sense. And never always will.

Give me a man or a woman who has read
a thousand books and you give me an
interesting companion. Give me a man or
woman who has read perhaps three
and you give me a very dangerous
enemy indeed.
Anne Rice, The Witching Hour
Consequently, if you believe God made Satan,
you must realize that all Satan's power
comes from God and so that Satan is
simply God's child, and that we are God's
children also. There are no children
of Satan, really.
Anne Rice, Interview with the Vampire
Harry, there is never a perfect answer in
this messy, emotional world. Perfection is
beyond the reach of humankind,
beyond the reach of magic.
In every shining moment of happiness
is that drop of poison:
the knowledge that pain will come again.
Be honest to those you love,
show your pain.
To suffer is as human as to breathe.
Jack Thorne, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child
